What do I know about love? I'm only 15

When you show love and compassion and do not receive it back, does one tend to have more or less love for the other? Wanting the other person will make you love them more, for the time being. Waiting a long time to see someone else and to have their love eventually will also urge someone to have a greater love. If you truly do love someone, your love continues to grow. Is the growth of love just a failure to face reality? Can you keep building a stronger love on a love that is one-sided? Will the love(r) eventually realize the love(e) is not going to have the same feelings? Will the love(r) be able to move on after being stuck on one person for so long? After a certain point, you have to realize that the other person is not into you. You cannot make someone love you. You cannot change how one person feels about another. You cannot control anything, but yourself. You have to let yourself go and be free to explore all the love you could possibly have. Don't settle on something that will never happen. Try your best and keep searching until you find something for you. Someone who loves you back.
